In a stunning turn of events, James Harden has been traded to the Houston Rockets for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, two first round picks, and a second round pick. Along with Harden, Cole Aldrich, Lazar Hayward, and Daequan Cook will go to Houston.

This is a shocking trade.

I don’t understand.

I realize that the Thunder couldn’t come to a contract agreement with Harden, and that they would rather get something in return for him, instead of having him walk at the end of the season…

But it still doesn’t make sense, and I certainly don’t agree with this. I think it sets the Thunder back rather significantly on the year.

This year in the NBA certainly won’t be boring; many teams have a lot to prove.
